Agua Linda Park in Scottsdale

A quick search for Scottsdale splash pads and you will run across Agua Linda Park in Scottsdale. However the spray poles that were once there are long gone. The park was remodeled in early 2019, but the spray poles have been gone much longer.
Auga Linda is right across the street from us, so we are there almost daily when the weather permits. There is a playground, and lots of room to run around and get out some energy.

Agua Linda Park is right across the street from us, so we are there almost daily when the weather permits. There is a playground, and lots of room to run around and get out some energy.

Playground

The medium sized playground for big kids. There is a large climbing area for older kids. One large slide for big kids, you have to climb up there in order to slide, so definitely not for littles or a Mom who tries to climb up holding on to one! Not that I tried. There are two smaller slides for younger kids. However they are in the sun most of the day despite the cover over the play area. Two big kid swings, two toddler swings and two specialty swings.

The small playhouse is always a popular spot. Plenty of room for a few kids to play house, serve food or whatever their imagination invents.

There is a lighted basketball court and sand volleyball court as well as about an acre where flag football and all kinds of games are always being played. The back half of the park is all greens. Lots of shade trees and room to explore.

Picnic

There are two drop in ramadas as well as several metal picnic benches on the west side of the park. Ramadas are first come first servce. If you are planning on having a catered event, inflatables or any specialty item they ask that you call the office in advance.

The remodeled park features four acres, 2 drop in ramadas, a full lighted basketball court, sand volleyball court, playground and restrooms. A small parking lot provides plenty of parking if needed. There are no spray poles, despite what the City of Scottsdale’s website claims.
