We’ve been wanting to visit Wobble Tots Indoor Playland in Mesa ever since they opened in February. The website announced it to be Arizona’s largest indoor playground with over 5,000 square feet of imagination and sensory play. Sounds like a dream come true! We finally had a chance to visit this week and were not disappointed!

The playspace is one open room with endless areas for kids to enjoy! Starting by the gated entrance, you’ll see a mini grocery store and lemonade stand, a play kitchen, and a tool center. Two climbing structures are in the center; the kids particularly loved the oversized blocks. It’s a unique addition you don’t see at other play areas.

Also in this area is a rideable Thomas train in a circular track, and a fun corner with oversized balls, a chalk board wall and sensory/fidget center. Think fuzzy material, locks, and the like that will entertain curious kids.

There are a couple comfy couches for parents in the center of the room, and one on the opposite wall. From any seat you can see almost anywhere in the play area, which is so nice!

The second half of the play space has so many fun areas! The stage, with instruments (and a TV playing kid music), is prominent, as well as the square road that loops around a camping area in the middle. Various sizes of cars are waiting on the side for kids to enjoy! You’ll also find a small bouncy house, some dress up toys, and a bubble machine that goes off periodically.

But by far, the kid’s favorite spot was the ball pit. It’s just wide and deep enough for them to have fun without getting buried. (Has anyone been to Urban Air? We love that place, but our 4 year old almost gets completely lost and buried in their ball pit!) Hats off to Wobble Tots for including this in their play area! It was definitely a highlight in our book.

There’s a gated baby only area by the restroom, as well as separate room for nursing mothers, and a small book area. A diaper changing station is right off the main play area – a curtain can be closed for privacy or have it open to keep an eye on other kiddos.

Overall, Wobble Tots feels like a mom opened up her toy filled home for the ultimate playdate! The relaxed atmosphere and little touches (like marked charging stations) are so inviting. And you’ll probably frequently see the owner and her own little one enjoying the comfy couches and fun toys. This play space is a clear labor of love and offering to the community. We can’t wait to see what else is added to this wonderful play area.

Wobble Tots Indoor Playland is open Monday-Saturday, 8:30am-4pm. Sundays are for private parties only. Admission is $9.95/ages 6 months-6 years, siblings are $6.95 each, with no charge for under 6 months. (Children over age 6 are welcome if they can be respectful of younger ones.) No food or drink is allowed in the play area, and no outside food or drink is allowed inside the building (water bottles aside). There is a cafe on site for snacks, drinks, and breakfast/lunch items like sandwiches, salads, and kid items.
