With multiple ways to evaluate file performance and navigate a large assembly file efficiently, these new improvements will keep you designing instead of waiting for files to load or update.

Join us as TriMech Solutions Consultant, Applications, Ryan Burgess walks through the performance evaluation tool in SOLIDWORKS 2025, which now includes several new results to help understand areas of your assemblies that may be causing degradation in performance. SOLIDWORKS has multiple ways to work with complex assemblies depending on your intended usage. Speedpak configurations being one of those option that creates a lightweight graphical presentation of your assembly. Speedpak is just one way users can increase performance when working complex assemblies. Large Design Review is another feature that has been around for a while, and in SOLIDWORKS 2025 sees some great new enhancements. Helping to improve your assembly workflow SOLIDWORKS now has a document group feature as well.

During this SOLIDWORKS assemblies webinar, you will learn:

  • Performance evaluation tools
  • Speedpack configurations
  • Large Design review
  • Document groups
  • Copy with mates improvements & Z-up template

Healing Imported Geometry Errors in SOLIDWORKS https://trimech.com/healing-imported-geometry-errors-in-solidworks/ Tue, 30 Jul 2024 19:53:22 +0000 https://trimech.com/?p=69995
There are many reasons why models imported from neutral file formats have topological errors when opened. The various CAD products used for creating geometry “speak” different languages and, to understand each other, they need translators. These translators come from different file formats like IGES, STEP, and Parasolid. Normally, the translation is seamless but occasionally a piece of information gets lost and a whole host of topological errors can be introduced. Things like gaps in faces, unsimplified geometry, and self-intersecting faces are just the beginning. These issues must be repaired or the models may experience longer than necessary open or save times and even frequent crashing.
Join us as TriMech Process and Training Consultant, Alin Vargatu dives into the multitude of tools in the SOLIDWORKS portfolio used to diagnose topological errors. Once the issues are diagnosed, we’ll discuss the different techniques used to eradicate those errors and keep the model running smoothly. You might have seen the previous renditions of this presentation but I promise you don’t want to miss the 2024 update!

In this SOLIDWORKS webinar, you will learn:

  • Importing neutral files to SOLIDWORKS
  • Techniques for Diagnosing Topological Errors
  • Fixing broken imports with minimal errors

"The method of instruction in teaching SOLIDWORKS Essentials was very effective. Each lesson was informative and complemented with time for practice in the form of exercises that reinforced the skills that were clearly demonstrated during lecture time. Extremely patient, the instructor always made sure to answer questions and clarify answers. I am certainly better prepared with more skills and more efficient CAD techniques."

— Joe Felice, Self Employed

"I'm transitioning from AutoCAD to SOLIDWORKS and this course has allowed me to get up to speed quickly so that I can confidently work in SOLIDWORKS now."

— Gerard Cormier, SPI Health and Safety

Features & Benefits of LIVE Online Training

Learn about the difference between eLearning/video based training and our Live Online Training

Training that reduces work day disruption

It's convenient and allows for little disruption to your working day. Live Online Training courses can be as little as 3 or 4 hours per day.

Live online instruction from certified trainers

Certified Instructors pass on their experience and provide best practices and tips.

More effective than video based training

With recorded videos customers are often not as focused on the training and skip exercises; plus with live online training the instructor is available to provide help or answer your questions.

Certificate when training is completed

Just like our regular classroom based training courses you will receive a certificate when you have completed an online course. Allowing you to prove your proficiency.

Live access to the Instructor

Get help by virtually raising your hand via the online training system, and privately chat with the instructor.

It's Hands-on Practical Training

You get plenty of time to try out the exercises and learn by using your 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA or ENOVIA software. Training is delivered on your software with your business setup.

Are you using SOLIDWORKS to its full potential?

Enhance your skills and capabilities with a SOLIDWORKS Training Assessment from TriMech.
