Take the family to Hidden Lake in Buckeye this summer and enjoy the super cool inflatable obstacle course on the lake!

We spent 4 hours enjoying the sunshine and water at this tucked-away West Valley lake. Privately opened but open to the public, Hidden Lake offers kayak and paddleboard rentals, a small but extensive bar menu, and a fun summer addition of a water playground for kids and adults. The kids loved this the most, from the slippery stairs and slide to the trampoline and plenty of space to give your best ninja kicks as you jump in.

Lake admission: adults are $10, and kids ages 4-12 are $8, plus an additional $5/person for the water obstacle course. Ages 5+ are welcome on the course, with life jackets required and provided. You can also bring your own kayak (which we did) or other personal non-motorized boats for $5. There is a $15 fee for motorized boats.

Note that there also aren’t a lot of beach-like shorelines. We arrived around 9 am on a Saturday and set up our canopy tent to the left of the main seating area. This was a nice spot for us to swim, and enjoy our picnic lunch. Large Port-a-potties are located by the parking lot, which is just a few minutes walks from the water.

Hidden Lake in Buckeye is open Friday – Sunday: 7:30am – 3pm . There is an onsite bar, and you are welcome to bring your own food and non-alchoholic drinks. Check out their list of upcoming events and music nights too!
