Step back in time at the Blazin’ M Ranch in Cottonwood!
Ride the buckin’ bronco, try your hand at ax throwing or target shooting, enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet, and more at this ranch. There are activities for kids and adults before food is served, and then you are treated to an hour’s show of toe-tapping songs. The dinner and show are in an huge airconditioned room too!
It was a unique dinner outing for sure. Our kids loved the target shooting the most! (Pssst – stick close to the dining entrance about 10 min before opening, and a cowboy may choose you to ring the dinner bell!)
May 7th was also their grand opening of Be Wild Family Fun Park, which includes mini-golf, a rock wall, remote control car racing, bounce houses, and more. This is a separate charge from the dinner/show option. More info can be found here.
Blazin’ M is Ranch in Cottonwood is open Wednesday-Saturdays; gates open at 5 pm, dinner is at 6 pm, show starts at 7 pm and lasts about an hour. Adults are $62/person, ages 5-12 $33/kid (4 and under free), including a short wagon ride around the property, lawn games, dinner, and the show. All other activities are extra.
Activity tickets are 3/$15 and include an alcohol drink ticket, or $5/$18; must be 13+ for ax throwing and 21+ to drink. Activities with the tickets include mechanical bull riding, target shooting, and ax throwing.
Of note, while family-friendly, the indoor show may not be of interest to little ones (our 3 and 7-year-old enjoyed dancing to some of the songs, but lost interest during the dialogue). The show leans towards corny entertainment. Also, while the dining hall doors open at 6 pm, it takes time to serve everyone and you may not receive food until 6:30 pm; plan ahead for young children with snacks. The dinner ribs are AMAZING!!
