Ready, Set, Play Indoor Playground
We recently took our daughter to visit Avondale’s only kids indoor play place, Jubeelieve.
This is a classic indoor playground with lots of fun activities for ages 1 to 5. They have cool indoor trains, a bouncy-castle, slides and forts, little cars that go down a slide, and much more.
If there’s one thing that differentiates a play place, it’s the cleanliness. Jubeelieve was sparkling. It appears to be cleaned throughout the day, and both bathrooms were spotless. The bathrooms are both private, and include adult and kids facilities. Pretty cool.
Admission costs $9 per child, ages 1 and up. Adults are free. Everyone must wear socks, and if you don’t have any you can purchase a pair for $3. That’s what I did, because of course I wore sandals. They have “Toddler Tuesday” where kids 3-years and under are only $4.50.
My only recommendations for making Jubeelieve better: It would be awesome if there was a matte or some place for infants and babies to play. Also, the bouncy-house is loud! When we were there, nobody played in the bouncy house but the fan kept on blowing. I’m sure it’s popular during weekends and the summer, though.
I must commend the owners for their beautiful artwork. They were painting the walls by hand while we were there, and they’ve done some beautiful murals of the sky, clowns, elephants, and other scenes. Really adds a nice home-made feel to the place.
They also have lots of small toys. Everything from legos, toy guitars, push trucks, and kitchen toys. They have it all!
So, if you are close to Avondale, on the west valley of metro-Phoenix, do yourself a favor and stop in at Jubeelieve with your children. They’ll have a blast!
