“Christmas On Comstock” showcases 15 homes synchronized to music along Comstock Drive near Elliot and Recker roads. This spectacular display even earned recognition on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight.” Tune radio to 88.1 FM. For 2023, the show begins on December 1.

Don’t forget to bring canned food for the neighborhood food drive!

Experience the magic on 98.1 FM for synchronized music and lights. In the 4600-4800 block of E. Voltaire Avenue, a synchronized outdoor lights display dances to Christmas music. Tune in to 98.1 FM for a festive soundtrack. The enchanting spectacle illuminates both sides of East Voltaire Avenue, spreading holiday cheer near Tatum Boulevard and Thunderbird Road.

Featuring 20,000 dazzling lights, this synchronized light extravaganza is choreographed to enchanting Christmas music. Marvel at the grand Christmas trees, ranging from 15 to 20 feet in height, as you tune in to 87.9 FM for the full experience. Don’t miss the show, running from December 5th to the 28th, with hours from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, and extended hours from 6 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Experience the Makela Family Light Show by tuning into 96.1 FM. Immerse yourself in a 15-minute-long spectacle featuring remixes of the Star Wars soundtrack and beloved holiday favorites, skillfully programmed by homeowner Sean Makela.

Toyland w/Gingerbread House & Bear, Undersea Adventure, Flamingo Lagoon, and a Penguin Alley. Open Thanksgiving through January 6.

At “Foux Lights,” you’ll be dazzled by over 25,000 lights synchronized to music, complemented by a collection of over 100 vintage blow-mold figures. Explore captivating scenes like the Land of Sweets, Winter Wonderland, Rudolph & Friends, Santa’s Workshop, and the Nativity scene. The show runs from dusk until 10 p.m. every night, starting a few days after Thanksgiving. The family welcomes you to contribute non-perishable food donations for the AZCEND food bank, spreading holiday warmth and goodwill.

35,000 Lights

Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit as this homeowner welcomes visitors with a life-size Flintstone car and other festive characters, adding a touch of whimsy to the dazzling display of 35,000 lights.

80,000 Lights

See 80,000+ lights with five houses synced to music 5:30-9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 5:30-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, weather permitting. A Disney theme is featured with nightly snowfall and a Santa mailbox to mail your letters. Tune to 88.1 FM. If you bring a letter make sure your address is on it because Santa sends a personalized replay to every letter.

35,000 Lights

The Peanuts airport with Snoopy on a runway and Santa in a helicopter coming in for landing are part of this family display where you can get a photo with your favorite Peanuts characters and Minions. The family says, “You don’t want to miss this display!” which is on from 5 p.m. to midnight Nov. 26 through Jan. 1.

Enjoy the enchantment of synchronized lights dancing to the rhythm of festive music.

25,000 Lights

Over 25,000 lights synchronized to music. Tune in to 87.9 in your car or listen to the outdoor speakers. Featuring a 24′ MEGA tree, 24′ palm tree matrices, 6′ snowflakes and an animated singing face. Over 1 hour of holiday music for young and old. Show runs nightly from 5:30-10, F/Sa 5:30-11. Donations accepted for Wounded Warriors. Merry Christmas!

Visit this yard display every night from 6 to 10 pm, where you can contribute to a good cause by making donations for St. Mary’s Food Bank.

50,000 Lights

Origin/meaning of the long-running tradition of the “Christmas Eve Candlelight Church Service”. The display lights in 5 stages to explain the message. Free hot cocoa, eggnog, and cookies served on Fridays and Saturdays. Lighted nightly at 6:00 PM through New Year’s Day.

120,000 Lights

Over 120,000 lights with a full manger scene, Misfits island, desert scene, snowman land and picture windows, photo booth. We are doing a canned food drive for New hope and donations for a family in need.

100 Lights

With 100 lights, this charming traditional display showcases numerous illuminated trees and an antique sleigh, beautifully adorned by Donner and a blanket of white lights. In the backyard, the magic continues, with the option for visitors to drive behind the home to enjoy the display from the park.

The Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Market will take place in the center of Veterans Memorial Park.

10,000 Lights

Lights in the palm trees, lawn games, huge Christmas tree. Over 10k lights that light up the southwest corner of 67th ave and Union Hills Dr. in Glendale.

Scottsdale Quarter has a big Christmas tree, and the splash pad area is decorated with lights on the palm trees. They have some photo-spots set up as well.

1,000,000+ Lights

ZooLights, presented by Tucson Electric Power, offers the perfect holiday experience with thousands of twinkling lights, enchanting light displays, and captivating animal-themed sculptures. Embrace the festive atmosphere with falling snow, visits from Santa, and nightly entertainment. For extra fun, hop on the carousel (additional fee). Warm up with hot cocoa and sweet treats. The regular Cafe menu is also available. ZooLights runs from December 2-23, with Encore Nights from December 26-30, and January 2-7, making it a wonderful Tucson holiday tradition. More than 1,000,000 lights.

750,000 Lights

Extend an invitation for a friend to join in and experience the mesmerizing 12-scene Christmas light display at Red Mountain. With over 750,000 lights, each scene unfolds a unique story, accessible through the Red Mountain app or the Christmas Lights Brochure available on campus. The festive spectacle is open for enjoyment every night between November 26 and December 31, excluding rainy evenings.

The Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch hosts the enchanting Riparian After Dark event every December, inviting guests to meander along a candle-lit trail by the picturesque Water Ranch Lake. Illuminated by hundreds of luminarias and vibrant light displays, this festive gathering offers live holiday entertainment, including school choirs and carolers. Visitors can indulge in light refreshments available for purchase, while the ADA-accessible trails ensure everyone can enjoy the experience. Leashed dogs are welcome to join the walk. What makes this event even more special is its commitment to local non-profit agencies, as each night is dedicated to a different cause, encouraging donations to support those in need.

58,500 Lights

This remarkable annual display along Main Street, adorned with 58,500 vibrant lights is generously offered by dedicated volunteers and is open to the public free of charge every evening throughout the holiday season.

Nightly Lit Tumbleweed Tree, open each night Dec. 3 thru Jan. 7 at sunset. The tumbleweed tree is lit nightly for visitors to see and take pictures in front of.

Take a stroll through enchanting pathways, indulge in live entertainment, and soak in the radiance of thousands of twinkling lights. While musicians and artists enchant you, enjoy sips of hot cocoa and festive treats. This is a holiday wonderland you won’t want to miss! Fridays & Saturdays from 5:30 ‚Äì 8:30 PM, December 1st through December 16.

1,000,000+ Lights

LightsUp! A Festival of Illumination is from November 24, 2023 – January 7, 2024. LightsUp! Stroll through six themed light areas and be dazzled by over one million lights, dancing sculptures, and awe-inspiring luminaria displays. Designed by nationally known public garden landscape architect Tres Fromme, the Gardens will transform into a carefully curated and artfully sequenced series of illuminated experiences. Six distinct yet connected thematic zones comprise LightsUp!: Arrival, Welcome Walk, Whimsy Way, Bedazzled Boulevard, Star Shower, and Luminaria Lane. In addition to clouds of LED lights throughout the display, there are custom-built, oversized props including light tunnels, cypress-inspired spindle trees, punched-tin stars trees, light curtains, and luminaria chandeliers and archways. All contribute to creating an unforgettable holiday experience unlike any other in southern Arizona. A casual walk through the show will take approximately 45 minutes and will be accompanied by a soundtrack that, in some areas, will be choreographed with lights.

Every winter, the Grand Canyon Railway’s Polar Express springs to life on an extraordinary journey. It departs from the nighttime wilderness of Williams, Arizona, and transports passengers to the enchanting wonder of “the North Pole.” There, Santa Claus and his reindeer eagerly await with a jingle bell for every well-behaved boy and girl.

Pratt Brothers Christmas at Rawhide is Arizona’s brand-new holiday extravaganza, boasting over 6 million dazzling lights, a mesmerizing light show, a charming train ride, nightly parades, thrilling stunt performances, festive shopping, live entertainment, and a plethora of family-friendly activities.

75,000 Lights

In its 6th year, the free Christmas Light Show at Rock Point Church illuminates from 6 to 9 p.m. every night from December 80th to the 24th. The display features two towering 30-foot Christmas light Mega trees, a spectacular 50-foot Mega arch tunnel, and thousands of lights choreographed to beloved Christmas and family-friendly music. For a cozy experience, there’s a viewing area with fire pits and heat lamps, and you can also purchase hot cocoa and s’mores to enhance the holiday spirit.

It’s the Valley’s beloved holiday tradition ‚Äì ZooLights! It shines larger and brighter than ever, featuring nearly four million lights, hundreds of dazzling displays, the addition of Wildlife Lanterns, and the grand return of the tallest floating tree in North America, which includes original music and a mesmerizing synchronized light show!

200,000 Lights

For more than four decades, the lighting of the Mesa Arizona Temple gardens has been a favorite holiday tradition for many. The free event, with over 200,000 lights has grown to become one of the largest Christmas lighting events in the Southwest, recently drawing over 1.5 million visitors. The lights are on every night, 5-10 p.m., from Friday, Nov. 24, through Sunday, Dec. 31, on the north lawn of the Mesa Arizona Temple, 101 S. LeSueur, in downtown Mesa. Free parking is available nearby. A unique display of more than 100 international nativities from around the world is also hosted inside the Mesa Temple Visitors’ Center, 455 E. Main, (across the street from the Mesa Arizona Temple). The event is free and open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Nov 24-Dec. 31. The nativities display will also be open from 11 am -1 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Experience a festive train ride with holiday lights, a special visit from Santa, enjoy the Playland area, meet farm animals, bounce on the jumping pillows, and explore activities like mini diggers, mini tractors, the Honey Bear Spinner, peddle carts, trikes, and the thrilling Super Slide. Dec. 8th – 10th , 15th – 17th & 22nd – 23rd.

They invite you to experience the magic of the holiday season at Mortimer Farms! From November 25th to December 24th, join them for Country Christmas at the Farm, which includes their enchanting Christmas Walk and Farm Park.

They invite you to delight in the magic of the holiday season at Santa’s enchanting, 400-year-old workshop.

The Gilbert Water Tower will illuminate with festive holiday colors every evening from November 27 to January 2. These lights will dance to holiday music every half hour, between 5:30 PM and 10:00 PM.

Visitors can partake in horse-drawn hayrides, a 30-minute Christmas Light maze, Gingerbread Bouncy Castle Slide, Fun Slide, smores, a train ride, a scavenger hunt, and more, savoring the season with delectable food and beverages (from many different food trucks). “Enchant Scottsdale” transforms the Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Arizona, into a magical holiday haven. At its heart is the world’s largest light maze, surrounded by an enchanting ice-skating trail winding through captivating displays. A bustling Christmas village offers a market for seasonal shopping and an opportunity to meet Santa in his workshop. Live entertainment and a delectable array of holiday treats contribute to the festive atmosphere, with activities and rides for children to enjoy. With millions of twinkling lights adorning the venue, “Enchant Scottsdale” creates a winter wonderland for families, couples, and individuals, making it an enchanting celebration of the holiday season.

“Glendale Glitters” is a cherished holiday tradition in Glendale, Arizona, celebrated for its dazzling light display that blankets the city’s historic downtown with millions of twinkling lights. The event kicks off with a grand lighting ceremony, complete with festive entertainment like live performances and carolers, fostering a spirited holiday ambiance. A holiday market with local vendors and Santa’s Workshop offer unique gifts and the chance to meet Santa Claus, while children can partake in various holiday-themed activities. Depending on the year, an ice-skating rink may be available for visitors to enjoy under the sparkling lights. The event culminates with a breathtaking fireworks display, marking the completion of a joyful celebration that brings the community together to embrace the magic of Christmas.

A few things to keep in mind as well:

  • We enjoy bringing along a steaming cup of hot chocolate and some cookies to savor during our drive! It’s a delightful way to make the commute between neighborhoods more enjoyable.
  • Traffic tends to be busier on weekends and during the week surrounding Christmas Day, especially near neighborhoods adorned with festive lights. Anticipate potential delays, particularly on popular streets.
  • Bring along your favorite holiday tunes to enhance the festive atmosphere, or tune in to the continuous stream of Christmas music on the local station 99.9 FM.
  • Most neighborhood light displays are best experienced from the sidewalk or your car. While some homes may welcome closer inspection or feature additional displays, these areas should be clearly marked. Avoid blocking driveways.
  • When parked temporarily to enjoy a display, consider turning off your headlights to minimize distractions. Remember to switch them back on when you’re ready to resume driving!
  • Plan ahead! Select a neighborhood to explore and jot down the addresses in advance for a smoother experience.
