If you have an airplane lover in your house, you have to check out Hanger Cafe in Chandler, at the Chandler Municipal Airport. This hidden gem located in the hangers at the airport is a great spot for plane watching.

Hangar Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch, 7am-2pm daily. I love home-cooked breakfast when eating out and there were lots of choices from pancakes to omelets. Kids menu had French Toast and pancakes.
There is a very laid back and casual feel to this place, so I think it is great for kids. We had one who did not want to sit still, only wanted to talk about and look at planes, and everyone else on the patio was fine with him running around every time he saw a plane!
After eating we ventured to the upper deck and watched some planes taking off. Don’t forget to go up there, grab a to-go drink and hang out for a few!
