The Halloween Town Pumpkin Patch combines rides, games, face painting, a pumpkin patch, and more for a family friendly event! The 2022 location is next to the Chandler Fashion Center, near Sears.
With basic admission, you get access to a kid height mini hay bale maze, and some photo ops – including the big white tent which holds hundreds of pumpkins! We were seriously impressed by the variety. Of course you’re welcome to pick your favorite to purchase. For photo ops, there are several employees happy to snap a family photo for no charge, or you’re welcome to take your own.
The rides and games take tickets, and those can be purchased in packs, or an unlimited ride wristband. (The games do take cash as well.) There are about a dozen rides to enjoy, from an oversized slide to swings to a mini Ferris wheel. There’s also a bouncy house section, with two bouncy houses for ages 4 and under only. Ours kids’ favorite was the pirate ship ride!
The games range from ring tosses and ball tosses, to an easy kiddie game where littles can hook 3 fish and win a prize! This was a great option for our 3 year old in particular.
Of note, we feel that the rides are best for ages 8 and under, maybe up to age 10. Only adults are allowed on the oversized slide. As for a minimum age/height for rides, there was no info posted. But we saw kids as young as 2 on rides.
At the Halloween Town Pumpkin Patch you’ll find typical fair snacks like cotton candy, pretzels, etc. There’s also a second food area offering burgers, hotdogs, corn dogs, chicken tenders, fries, and meal options. The walking taco was really good! Credit card only is accepted for these food vendors.
Halloween Town will be open October 13th – 31st, 2022. Hours are Monday – Friday: 4-9pm, and Saturday – Sunday: 11:00AM – 10:00PM. Basic admission is $5/person (ages 2 and under are free). A pack of 24 ride or game tickets (most are 4-5 tickets each), is $25, with unlimited ride wristbands $25/person. All day ride wristbands will not be sold Friday – Sunday after 5pm. Wristbands purchased prior to 5pm are good until closing.
There are port-a-potties on site, with hand washing stations, as well as a side tent with tables for diaper changes.
