Now open is Desert Farm Lights near Surprise!

This NEW event in the West Valley has a simplicity and beauty you won’t find anywhere else. Our kids loved the candy cane maze! We did it twice, once to just find the exit, ha, and then a second time to find all 8 elves in the maze. The huge decorated Christmas tree in the center was perfect for photos too. The walking trail has over 600,000 lights, with some photo ops too! Grab a hot chocolate and take your time on this trail.

Other fun available is bouncy houses and free pictures with Santa and The Grinch! Both were fantastic – the Grinch may have been our favorite, with his antics. (Check the website to see which dates they will be present.) Both of these are included with admission, with the option to pay extra for a barrel train ride, food trucks, s’mores around the firepits, and other vendors.

There are port-a-potties on site, and strollers/wagons are welcome. Employees are all around, and happy to take photos! Part of the experience has wood chips, which helps with dust control. Just remember that it is a desert-based experience – and our shoes and stroller washed off once home with no issues!

Desert Farm Lights is open Mon-Sun 5:30 pm-10 pm from November 25 – January 1. Located at 14629 W. Peoria Ave, Waddell, AZ, 85355. $17 for adults, $13 for kids, military and senior discounts, and season passes available. Parking is $5/car. Follow them on social media for mid-week deals too! Learn more on their website.
