New this year is Enchant Christmas in Scottsdale!

The star of the event is the 4 million light maze, with a fun scavenger hunt for reindeer and so many opportunities for photo ops. Definitely take your time to wander and explore! There’s some fun interactive type activities too.

Also available is ice skating, Santa visits, a small play area for kids, an adult Ice Bar, various shows and music (we loved the ballerina), and numerous shops offering food, drinks, and holiday gifts.

We tried it all, and the kids loved the ice skating. A real outdoor ice rink is a treat in Phoenix! The maze was incredible, especially the tunnel. We’ve never seen anything as elaborate! And huge props to the Santa, who greeted our preschooler with “My, you’ve grown so big since the last time I saw you!” He was very patient and kind with her shyness too.

Enchant Christmas in Scottsdale

Enchant Christmas is held at the Salt River Fields Stadium (7555 N Pima Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85258), now through January 1, 2023. General admission is $34/adults, and $20/child (ages 2 and under are free). A Night Owl special as available, and kids go free on select Wednesdays.

General admission tickets include access to the maze, kids play area, various shows, and Santa visit. Ice skating is $18 for all ages, skate rental included. Parking is $10 (but no one checked our parking pass!). A VIP pass is offered for extra, which allows access to the front of the line for skating and Santa.

A few tips if you visit:

  • the event is held in the baseball stadium. The ground level has the maze and ice skating. The main level offers everything else. It’s a bit chilly on the ground level! Bring jackets for sure; two of our kids were happier with heavier coats and wanted gloves.
  • strollers are allowed, but not in the maze. Most families left strollers on the main level when going down to the maze.
  • be prepared for a lot of walking! The shops and activities are spread out ALL around the main level of the stadium. This is where a stroller comes in handy for littles.
  • also be prepared for a wait for Santa. Every family gets 3 min with Santa. Professional photos are taken and are an extra cost.
  • if you get VIP passes, let a staff member know. They don’t always ask, and you could be stuck in a line for no reason (which happened to us with Santa). But at the ice skating there was no VIP line so….
  • is it worth it? If you love IG-worthy photo ops and videos, and are a Hallmark holiday movie lover, you’ll likely love it!
  • there is some kid friendly snack options, but not much. The stadium also offers familiar food like pretzels, burgers, etc. Pricing for hot chocolate is $5, specialty drinks are $12-15 . We brought in our own water bottles.
  • learn more on their website!
