Open now is World of Illumination in Phoenix, with two locations in Tempe and Glendale! Immerse yourself in a perfectly synchronized light show, set to music, all from the comfort of your vehicle.
Last week we experienced both locations on opening nights to kick off the holiday season. This was our first time personally visiting any World of Illumination show and the kids loved it, especially the tunnels. Driving at a slow 3-5mph, we had all the windows down and the moon roof open to soak in the excitement. It’s hard to not be impressed by 1 million lights!!
This is truly the best drive through synchronized light show you’ll find in Phoenix, a great alternative to events like Zoolights, especially if you family members with mobility concerns. Make hot chocolate ahead of time and enjoy the show!
The Tempe location is at Diablo Stadium (2200 W Alameda Dr, Tempe, 85282), with the theme Cosmic Sleighride.
The Glendale location is at Desert Diamond Casino (9431 W Northern Ave, Glendale, 85305) with the theme Reindeer Road.
You can’t go wrong with either! Pick the closest, load up the car with family or friends, and get in the Christmas spirit.
Tickets are per vehicle, operating Tuesday through Sunday, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., rain or shine. NOW through December 31, 2023. Prices range from $39.99 to $49.99 on weekends. Note that on weekends and closer to Christmas, you may have a wait to enter the drive thru experience.
