With all the complexity, it is paramount to have tools in place that not only help handle day to day tasks but also achieve project goals across the entire product development cycle. One of the more challenging tasks is programming robotic cells and ensuring that cycle times are quick, movement is efficient, and everything is done safely. Typically, this is done by shutting the assembly line down and programming movements which leads to costly downtime. Fortunately, there are tools on 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Dassault Systemes has tools in place that can help offline program robots to allow for quicker changeover between tasks.

Join us as TriMech Product Manager, Joe Hugan, guides us through available tools and modeling approaches aimed specifically at Robotic Simulation in the Aerospace Industry. We’ll start with gaining a fundamental understanding of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and how we can use it for collaboration. From here, we’ll dive deeper into functional examples of painting, riveting, and drilling using 3DEXPERIENCE Robotic Programming tools. Finally, Joe discusses potential next steps for a future Robotic Programming Implementation.

With multiple ways to evaluate file performance and navigate a large assembly file efficiently, these new improvements will keep you designing instead of waiting for files to load or update.

Join us as TriMech Solutions Consultant, Applications, Ryan Burgess walks through the performance evaluation tool in SOLIDWORKS 2025, which now includes several new results to help understand areas of your assemblies that may be causing degradation in performance. SOLIDWORKS has multiple ways to work with complex assemblies depending on your intended usage. Speedpak configurations being one of those option that creates a lightweight graphical presentation of your assembly. Speedpak is just one way users can increase performance when working complex assemblies. Large Design Review is another feature that has been around for a while, and in SOLIDWORKS 2025 sees some great new enhancements. Helping to improve your assembly workflow SOLIDWORKS now has a document group feature as well.

During this SOLIDWORKS assemblies webinar, you will learn:

  • Performance evaluation tools
  • Speedpack configurations
  • Large Design review
  • Document groups
  • Copy with mates improvements & Z-up template

SOLIDWORKS PDM Replication: Enhancing Performance for Distributed Workforces https://trimech.com/solidworks-pdm-replication-enhancing-performance-for-distributed-workforces/ Mon, 06 Jan 2025 20:19:23 +0000 https://trimech.com/?p=72011 Imagine that you’re in the zone, focused in on the next task on your plate and you navigate to your PDM Vault to continue working. From here you click on a file and seemingly nothing happens. You might wait for a little bit, then get up to get some more coffee or chat up a coworker, and finally, when you come back the dialogue has loaded. Unfortunately, at this point, the mojo is gone and you really don’t have the motivation to keep working. We typically see this occur when connecting to SOLIDWORKS PDM over a great distance (i.e. working in a satellite office when the PDM Server is at headquarters across the country). However, within SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional there are mechanisms where we can alleviate some of the latency and get back to a faster, more productive work environment.

Join us as SOLIDWORKS Data Management Expert, Sawyer Gara, leads us through an overview of SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional Replication. We’ll start off by discussing the architectural fundamentals of a PDM Server and how it all interacts with the end user. After understanding the architecture, we’ll dive into PDM Replication and understand why you might want to consider replicating your PDM Server. From there, we go a little deeper into some of the nuances of SOLIDWORKS PDM Replication. Finally, we’ll discuss some keys to success and areas to think about when implementing Vault Replication.

During this SOLIDWORKS PDM webinar, you will learn:

  • The Fundamentals of PDM Server Architecture
  • Understand SOLIDWORKS PDM Replication
  • Learn the Benefits of Replicating PDM
  • Differentiate Archive Server vs. Database Server Replication
  • Keys to a Successful Replication
