Now, through October 29th, the Arizona State Fair is bringing family fun to Arizona! With a rotation of entertainment, like the Fairytales on Ice show we attended, and the Coliseum concert series, there is something for everyone in the family.
All the classic rides are here, including the 130-foot La Grande XL, one of the largest transportable ferris wheels in the world, to bumper cars and a carousel. For thrill seeking teens like mine, there are some impressive rides like the brand new Raptor Coaster and the Titan.
The food choices are endless! If you are a foodie like me, check the dates for a “Taste of Fair” night where a variety of fun foods will be offered for just $3. My kids’ favorite of the night was the caramel and candied apples!
Don’t skip the agricultural display, especially if you have littles! There are a variety of animals to pet and the World Wildlife Zoo hosts exhibits on the farm stage. Check for showtimes.
Admission is $15 per person, and ride tickets are purchased through the RCS Funpass App. 40 tickets run $50, although there are many options available. Rides cost between 1 and 14 tickets. Unlimited wristbands are available on Thursdays for $50. Check the website for more information on the entertainment lineup and dates.
The Arizona State Fair is located near downtown Phoenix at 1802 N 17th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85007 .
