OpenXR Integration

Creative Experience now supports the OpenXR standard for virtual reality, bringing several enhancements:

  • Several VR (XR) behaviors, actors and scripts have been updated to follow the OpenXR standard
  • Geometry adapts automatically to the headset and controllers in use
  • Create XR actors directly from the right-click menu of the XR Interaction Area
Play Optimization

Play Optimization now includes three presets to simplify and accelerate the process of publishing optimized experiences for different use cases and devices:

  • Performance: Optimizes the experience for smallest size and best performance on web and mobile
  • Balanced: Offers a balanced optimization between visual quality and output size
  • Quality: Focuses on the best visual quality resulting in the largest model size

New Camera Workflow

The workspace of the Creative Experience editor has been partially restructured, providing new ways to work with the cameras of experiences through the redesigned canvas.

  • The canvas header now allows for direct switching between different cameras and the authoring viewport
  • Panels no longer overlay the canvas, ensuring a smooth workflow with the 3D scene
  • User interface responsiveness for different screen sizes can be visualized by resizing the canvas
