Circle G Park in Gilbert has been remodeled to include inclusive playground equipment. They have installed an inclusive swing, vine climbers, and a spinning disc.
Playground
This wood chip playground got a wonderful remodel in 2022. They did a good job with a shade over the main climbing structures. We were there around noon and were able to stay in the shade while on the little and big kids’ playground. The other features however had no shade.
The toddler playground has a ramp, slide, clock, alphabet, fun walker climber, and more.
The kids named this “kids treadmill” and I am not going to lie, the name fits. They stood in place and ran for so long.
Two swings, one inclusive swing, one toddler swing are located to the side of the playground.
Picnic
There are two shaded picnic tables. This unique ramada design will allow the structure to remain shaded late into the day. There is plenty of shade under trees in the grass to picnic too. However, the grass has those little prickly things in it that stick to your clothes and do not ever want to come off.
Park
Circle G Park in Gilbert is a 4.4 acre neighborhood park that was opened in 1983 and received a remodel in 2022. It features a large grassy basin area, two playground structures, new play equipment, and a swing set. It also has a lighted tennis court and a walking trail that goes around the park. Note there is no bathroom at this neighborhood park.
Learning At The Park
We love the addition of little details like an alphabet with beginning letter sounds. The kids sat by the alphabet till they could say a word for every letter. And I think they could have stayed all day doing math and hiding the numbers they added up!
Getting There
There is a large parking lot located on Encinas Ave where you can park.
