This wood chip park has a three-story big kid climbing structure, a smaller toddler area, music to play, ramada, chess table, benches, and now a few spray poles. While structures have some shade, it’s not much. This might not be the best park to play at during the hot summer months. But it would be great for spring or fall, when you need play time and a quick cool off!

Note there are no public restrooms. This isn’t a negative, just an FYI for those parents or caregivers that may need a nearby restroom for their children.

There are trains that pass by this park making it a hit with the kids. You also get a great view of the Gilbert Water Tower (there’s a splash pad there too). This is another fun place to stop, with shops and restaurants, and a fun farmer’s market on the weekends.

Park

This park features a large grassy area for playing, a large shaded ramada, chess table, two climbing structures, a new spray pad, wood chips, very little shade, and no public restrooms. The musical instrument section was a nice addition! More playgrounds need this type of play option.

Getting There

There is no designated parking lot, however, you can park along Park Ave or North Ash Street.
