  • Promotion applies to a variety of SOLIDWORKS products including CAD, Composer, ElectricalInspectionMBDPlastics, and Simulation.
SOLIDWORKS Value Upgrade

What is Term Licensing?

Term Licensing is for individuals and companies that want access to SOLIDWORKS best-in-class design solutions with lower upfront costs compared to traditional perpetual licensing.

With a term license you can use SOLIDWORKS products with a quarterly subscription. A term license gives SOLIDWORKS users access to a variety of SOLIDWORKS applications with the same full version as a perpetual license — but with a flexible and affordable approach that’s easy on a software budget and easy to manage.

Why Rent SOLIDWORKS?

SOLIDWORKS Term Licenses are ideal for companies that need to maximize their cash flow, this could include the following:

  • Licenses are required for short term projects or for the specific phase of a project where specific software such as simulation is needed to validate a design.
  • Licenses are to meet staffing requirements such as contract staff or intern that require SOLIDWORKS for a short time period.
  • new division or project has been initiated and cash-flow is a concern.
  • start-up/new business requires SOLIDWORKS software at the minimum cost to get started.
  • Companies that need technical support and upgrades with their SOLIDWORKS license (Subscription Service is included with a term license)

Panel Assembly Instructions using SOLIDWORKS Electrical & Composer https://trimech.com/panel-assembly-instructions-using-solidworks-electrical-composer/ Mon, 29 Apr 2024 19:48:01 +0000 https://trimech.com/?p=68959
One of the biggest benefits that using SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematic and SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D brings us is the ability to get a single cohesive view of my electro-mechanical assembly. As a design team, we can showcase our designs from a 2D Schematic perspective as well as a fully modeled and routed 3D Assembly. Doing this is great and ensures that there are no questions and no discrepancies between what we designed and what gets produced. SOLIDWORKS Composer allows us to take this one step further and easily create assets for assembly instructions for the panel.
Join us as TriMech Elite Application Engineer, Sawyer Gara, discusses how to take systems designed inside of SOLIDWORKS Electrical and utilize SOLIDWORKS Composer to generate assembly documentation. We will review complimenting SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematic by pairing it with SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D to create true electro-mechanical assemblies. From there, we let SOLIDWORKS Composer take the reigns to generate our assembly steps. Because we are using a connected design ecosystem, SOLIDWORKS Composer can leverage properties from our wires and components to pull information directly to the assembly instructions. The cherry on top will be taking each step of the assembly procedures and turning them into a powerful animation to truly showcase how the system is built. Finally, we end with some things to keep in mind when flowing between SOLIDWORKS Electrical and SOLIDWORKS Composer to implement the keys to success.
During this SOLIDWORKS Electrical webinar, you will learn:
  • Review the collaboration of Electrical Schematic and Electrical 3D
  • Creating Panel Assembly Instruction Documents
  • Pulling Properties from Electrical Components
  • Going from static images to amazing animations
  • Keys to Success for Electrical – PDM BOM Integration

Join us with TriMech Solutions Architect, Applications, Jorge Villacres and Technical Manager, Applications, John Hall, as they show how you can transition from a paper-based operations floor to creating seamless digital content and implementing a digital (PMI) Model-Based Enterprise (MBE)Process to complete a project. During the presentation, our engineers will show you how you can apply and enhance your digital workflows by combining and leveraging many SOLIDWORKS tools such as PDM, MBD, CAM, Inspection, and Composer.

During this Digital Manufacturing Webinar, you will learn:

  • How to manage your data efficiently in one unified environment
  • How to create digital product manufacturing information (PMI) directly inside your CAD files
  • How tool pathing is automated directly off models while also taking tolerancing into consideration
  • How to create inspection documentation directly from the model
  • How to create intelligent, interactive content for shop floor use like assembly manual and quality assurance produce guides
