Cerreta Candy Company in Glendale is a family-owned candy factory and has been a sweet haven since its establishment in 1968!
As soon as you step foot into Cerreta Candy Company, you’ll be greeted by the aroma of freshly made chocolates and candies! It’s almost overwhelming, but in a good way.
One of the highlights of Cerreta Candy Company is their factory tours. These tours offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the art of candy-making, The friendly and knowledgeable tour guides make it an engaging and educational experience for the whole family. We got to hold a huge pure chocolate candy bar too! Any guesses how much it weighed??
We’ve done this tour three times now, and suggest you call ahead to see if the machines will be running when you plan to tour. While it’s cool to see them in action, it’s also very hard to hear the tour guide. We preferred the machines not running, and our guide was great with the kids, answering all their questions.
Cerreta Candy Company specializes in their renowned French Mint to and creamy caramels, along with other delights. Samples are included in the tour!
There is an add on option for kids to decorate chocolate items after the tour. Our kids with with the chocolate bear, and there was plenty of frosting and extras to cover their creation.
The factory and gift shop are located at 5345 W Glendale Ave, Glendale, 85301 . Tours are offered every hour, M-F, from 10am-2pm and cost $7/person. Adding on the chocolate decorating after brings the price to $13-$16/person . Learn more on their website.

I love, Cerreta‘s candies! The partnership you have with the city of Glendale has produced one of the best events at Valentine’s Day. I remember my children who are now in their 40s going with me to the Valentine’s Day event and the best part of the event was the Cerreta‘s candy-making tent. Thank you for what you do with the community that needs you so much.
