Hillcrest Park in Glendale

Hillcrest Park in Glendale is a nice little neighborhood park for burning off energy for all ages! I like that the picnic tables and ramadas are close to the playground for easy watching kids, as well as a large lawn for playing games or just running.

Hillcrest Park in Glendale is a nice little neighborhood park for burning off energy for all ages! I like that the picnic tables and ramadas are close to the playground for easy watching kids, as well as a large lawn for playing games or just running.

Playground

This wood chip playground has two big kid swings, two toddler swings, a bar, slides, monkey bars, spinning seat and some basic climbing equipment. It’s nothing fancy but it’s completely shaded, which is great for Arizona summers when your kids need to get out. If you’ve been in Arizona for any length of time, you know that the sunshine can be strong!

Picnic

There are picnic tables throughout the park, some are shaded by trees. Personally I like the ones that are directly next to the playground and have some shade. There are two ramadas with grills located next to the playground as well. This would be a great out of the way park for a birthday party or family event.

Park

Hillcrest Park in Glendale is a 8.2 acre park features a ball field, playground, ramadas, picnic tables, grills and a huge grass lot.

Getting There
