World’s Biggest Bounce House in Mesa. The ultimate of all bounce house experiences, Fun Box, is currently in Mesa in the west side of the parking lot at the Superstition Springs Mall. But don’t worry, you can not miss it. It is a 25,000 square foot bounce park.
It has the biggest bouncy obstacle course I’ve ever seen, a snow cone stand, a seating area for non-jumpers, a smaller candy-themed bounce house, and a large bounce area. This larger bounce area is epic. It looks like a castle. It includes a huge pillow, multiple slides, climbing hills, punching bags, candy themed obstacles, a zone suited for smaller children, basketball, a climbing tower, inflated mushrooms, and more inflated candy to jump around. I felt like we were in a magic candy land forest.
My kids, ages 6 to 11, all had a great time. However we also saw tiny toddlers and teenages all laughing and playing. The brave adults that ventured into the bounce area were laughing and feeling like kids again. I have bad joints and was nervous about jumping, but I ended up having a blast and it didn’t hurt at all.
It was not crowded, however it was a bit wet and rainy today. Our socks did get absolutely soaked, but we were having too much fun to care. If you go on a rainy day, bring dry socks for the ride home, and a bag to put the wet ones in.
My kids were nervous at first because they felt like they might get lost. Once we were there, however, and saw how it was laid out, they all felt safe. It was surrounded by fencing, so no one could wander in or out, and they always knew a grown up would be at a table in the seating area so they could always come find us. We also brought walkie talkies just in case, but didn’t end up needing them.
Ticket prices range from $16 to $19, and grip socks are $3. Grip socks are required, however you can bring your own. Even if you’re not going to jump, you have to pay to enter. Water bottles are $3, and snow cones are $6. Bathroom facilities are porta potties, but they were fairly clean. Foot pump hand washing stations are in front of them with plenty of soap and water.
Jump time lasts 1 hour and 20 minutes, and entry times are posted online. So check online first to reserve your jump time, and arrive 5 minutes early to ensure you’re there when they open. Also be sure to sign the waiver online ahead of time to make entry faster. More info on their website!
We really did just have the best day ever. I absolutely recommend this experience to all ages. I … I mean my kids… can’t wait to go again.
