Blue Rooster Produce Stand in Peoria, Arizona, is a family-friendly farmer’s market. This farmer’s market doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you walk in, you see it’s full of charm, fresh produce, family fun activities, and more!
Blue Rooster Produce Stand is only open on Saturdays from 8 AM-1 PM year-round except for a few weeks in the summer when the temps are just too hot to leave the fresh produce out.
This family-owned farmer’s market is unlike any market I’ve been to. It seems as though they aim to create an experience. They want you to hang out for a while and enjoy their set-up. They even have a lounge area with a family-friendly movie playing.
So, we sat and ate our wood-fired pizza and watched the movie. Then, while I browsed and caught footage of the market, my kids played in the sandpit. After, we played with play-doh and painted rocks that we took home.
A big highlight for the kids at Blue Rooster was the animals. They had chickens and baby bunnies and two big snoring pigs!
Blue Rooster’s fresh produce should be mentioned too! I got organic grapes that were huge and delicious, fresh farm eggs, homemade granola, and honey butter. If you’re a coffee fan, they have a coffee hut where they serve up fresh iced coffee.
Another perk of this market is that it is well shaded! All the activities are well shaded, making the experience that much more enjoyable.
Blue Rooster Produce Stand also has a promo where you get free Blue Rooster merchandise when you spend $30 total at the market, and it’s really easy to spend $30 there between the fresh produce, pizza, and coffee!
This is actually the best farmer’s market I’ve been to, and we look forward to spending more Saturdays there in the future!
