Arabian Library in Scottsdale

Kim Gudykunst Ollerhead

We stopped by the Arabian Library in Scottsdale to pick up our first summer reading program rewards. And of course, we stayed to explore and get more books to read.

Youth

While there are not a lot of “toys” at this location, there is plenty to look at. Each of these panels is unique with letters, numbers, items to find, mirrors for littles to see themselves and more.

I like this little basket for toys that need cleaning.

Board book area with seats for reading to the littlest readers.

Kids Books

From chapter books to fiction to so many fun books, there’s a lot to read here!

These bookmarks that you can leave out saying you are still using the material are great. On this day someone obviously did a lot of reading here and books needed to be re-shelved.

Activities

There was an in-library scavenger hunt going on when we visited. The kids got a laminated sheet with pictures and I got one with clues.  One was actually missing! We informed the librarian so she could get a new one. Kids earned extra points towards the summer reading program.
