The Sedona Santa Experience is a new interactive holiday event where kids (and their parents) are able to meet Santa himself, and do some fun activities along the way!

The magic begins with each child receiving an invitation to meet Santa, delivered right to their mailbox! The kids loved this – how did they just check the mail, but then two red envelopes show up? They held on to these invitations like gold until we left for Sedona!

After check-in, we had a few moments to take in the holiday decor, and anticipate what was to come. Then our journey started by following our guide briefly outside to catch a glimpse of Santa’s workshop, before getting to meet him. (Don’t worry, there is plenty of time to view the workshop indoors too, with some special elf guides to explain all the ins and outs of toy making!)

The Santa chat time was amazing. He was so patience with our shy 3 year old, and eventually got her to come closer and check out the magical lock given by Mrs. Clause! We had about 5 minutes with Santa, and while you’re welcome to take your own photos, professional ones are taken as well.

Other activities in this room are writing a letter to Santa, making a bottle of reindeer feed for Christmas Eve (it’s oatmeal and sparkles, such a cute idea!), and viewing the beautifully decorated snow globe room. Elves are present to guide your child, and answer questions.

We moved on to Mrs. Clause’s gingerbread kitchen, greeted by Abby the Elf, and had a cookie and hot cocoa! Kids will also receive the hot cocoa recipe to take home. This room was one of our favorites. Not just for the treats offered – it was so festive and beautiful! Lots of little extras to look at.

Our last stop was back to the main room where we began, where Abby read a Christmas story and we finished up our snacks. The kids are invited to pick out a commemorative ornament from the Christmas tree to take home, and get photos with Abby herself.

Thank you to the Sedona Santa Experience for hosting us!

There are still showtimes available this December for your child to join the Santa Experience! All times are in the evening, and dates available vary. See their website for booking, including details on what is included with general admission and VIP tickets. Note that VIP children and families do receive some extras, but we won’t ruin the surprise!

This experience takes places in Sedona, about 2 hours north of Phoenix, at the Honey and Hive Apothecary (Building Behind Dominos Pizza, 1890 W State Rte 89A Suite D, Sedona, AZ 86336).
