Here is all the details you need to know about the two best pools in Surprise. Let’s dive right in! (All photos are from the Surprise Aquatic Center.)

First up, we have the Surprise Aquatic Center, located at 15831 N Bullard Ave. This amazing place is open from May 27 to August 2. During weekdays, from Monday to Thursday, you and your little ones can splash around and have a blast between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. On Fridays, the open swim hours will be from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Finally, on Saturdays and Sundays, you can enjoy the water wonders between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.

But wait, there’s more! From August 5 to September 24, the Surprise Aquatic Center will be open exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays, still from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. So, mark your calendars and get ready for those splash-tastic weekends!

Next, let’s talk about the Hollyhock Community Pool, located at 15808 N. Hollyhock St. This delightful pool will also be open from May 27 to August 2, offering a refreshing escape during those hot summer days. On weekdays, from Monday to Thursday, the pool hours will be from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. And on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, you can take a dip from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Starting from August 5 to August 27, the Hollyhock Pool will be open exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays, maintaining the same hours of operation from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. It’s a wonderful opportunity to make the most of the remaining summer days before fall arrives.

For our resident families, the rates are as follows: $2.00 for youth residents (ages 6 months to 17 years old), $3.00 for adult residents (18 years and over), and $5.00 for non-residents of all ages.

Please remember that residents need to provide proof of residency, such as a valid ID with an address or a utility bill with a matching ID, to enter at the resident rate. For our little ones aged 10 and under, an adult guardian who is at least 16 years old must accompany them.

If you and your family plan on frequent visits to these amazing aquatic centers, I have some great news for you! You can opt for a semi-annual pool pass, which offers excellent value for money. The costs are $30 for a youth pass, $50 for an adult pass, and $100 for a family pass (valid for a family of 5). It’s a fantastic way to enjoy unlimited fun in the water throughout the season.

Now, let’s talk about the exciting amenities available at both pools. The Surprise Aquatic Center offers a wide range of attractions, including a Zero-Depth Area with Water Play Features, 2 thrilling slides (1 Flume and 1 Tunnel), a Vortex Whirlpool, a Competition Pool, and a Diving Well with 2 1-meter Boards. It’s a water wonderland that guarantees hours of laughter and joy for the whole family!

At the Hollyhock Pool, you’ll find a Zero-Depth Area with Water Play Features, a Water Spray Pad with Play Features, a Water Slide to add a splash of excitement, and a 3-Lane Lap Pool for those who want to get some exercise while enjoying the water. It’s the perfect place to cool off and have a splashing good time!

So, gather up your towels, swimsuits, and sunscreen, and head over to these fantastic aquatic centers for some unforgettable family fun. Remember to pack some healthy snacks and plenty of water to stay hydrated during your pool adventures. More information can be found on their website.
