The Tavern Hotel in Cottonwood

The Tavern Hotel in Cottonwood

The Tavern Hotel in Cottonwood is quite possibly the perfect spot to stay. It’s within distance to a wide variety of restaurants, wineries and outdoor adventures; it’s convenient, comfy and affordable.  Between the original 41 and an additional 31 rooms added there are 41 exquisite guest rooms and 2 luxury penthouses in Old Town Cottonwood.

We stayed here during February to celebrate my husband’s birthday and the entire experience was incredible. When booking I spoke to the hotel about what room was best for kids, and they so kindly mentioned the cottage with bedrooms, so kids could sleep away from us! The staff was all too kind, from yelling Happy Birthday to my husband as I checked in (sorry honey, you know I had to), waving to the kids and answering any questions we had during our stay.

They provide you with a complimentary drink at The Tavern Grille, only a few steps away, and complimentary breakfast at Crema Craft Kitchen across the street, making it easy to grab quick bites. We had a great time going out on adventures and enjoyed having a comfortable place to stay, making it a wonderful getaway.

The Tavern Cottage

The family friendly Tavern Cottage sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms, each with queen beds. This is perfect for the kids to be able to have their own room so we were able to stay up past their bedtime.  There is lots of space in this 850 sq ft cottage! It was brought down from Jerome and it is a great space for families to stay. We enjoyed having the extra space to run around, as well as not being directly attached to any other rooms for those moments kids were a little too excited to be in a hotel!

The kitchen is fully stocked kitchen for extended stays, cooking in your cottage with the kids, or anything you could need.

The kids loved having their own room and queen bed. I loved that I could sync the alarm clock to my Bluetooth and play white noise for them. White noise machines are already in lots of the rooms, but if you need one, just reach out to the front desk.

This luxurious spacious bathroom comes with high end bath and spa products, a hair dryer and lots of storage space. The bathroom tile is beautiful and the kids enjoyed the shower very much.

Double Queen Cottage

The 2 queen cottage is slightly smaller but still the perfect place to crash after a day of traveling or adventures.

King Cottage

This 600 sq ft King Cottage is great for a couple looking to get away. There is a one bedroom with a king bed, living room, dining room and full kitchen. Check here for specials and packages that are great for couples.

King Junior Suite

The King Junior Suite was great for a couple who want to unwind after a night of wine touring. The extra space and table make it  a great option for people who may want to play some games or have friends over.

Deluxe King

The Deluxe King rooms with the balcony view were breathtaking! The gorgeous views from the balcony are the perfect addition to this room. If you want to make sure you have either a mountain or downtown view, call the hotel when booking.

Tavern Dog Cottage

Have a furry one? Stay in the Tavern Dog Cottage with a queen bed and personal yard for the dog!

Deluxe Queen

The deluxe queen is perfect for touring wine country with your friends.

The Tavern Penthouse

Have a large family gathering or special occasion coming up? Sitting atop The Tavern Grille, the penthouse offers the very definition of luxury with 2300 square feet of gorgeous, elegant space with three outdoor patios, right on historic Main St.

The master bedroom has access to the patio, large walk in closet, bath tub and plenty of space. There is another bedroom with a queen bed, as well as a third bedroom with two queen beds. There is a large workspace if someone in your party has to work on vacation.

This spacious layout with views over the town is as elegant as it is comfortable. The fully stocked kitchen is a chef’s dream. There’s more room for food and kitchen supplies in this kitchen than there is in my home!
