Breakthrough Smash Room in Phoenix is a smashing good time for all! We had a fun time with family and friends. This could be a perfect Mom night or date night spot as well!
We went to Breakthrough Smash Room to check out what it was all about. It was a smashing good time! We got to see a little behind the scenes of how they make it possible for you to smash. They have an employee whose job is to go around to local businesses to collect breakables that have been donated.
Room 3 has clips so you can hang windows or large smashables. They also pointed out how they fill and patch the rooms almost weekly!
Smash Day
On Smash Day, arrive in time to check in and gear up with safety gear. Then you will grab a crate and you’ll choose from baseball bats, sledgehammers, crowbars and more. Feeling extra destructive that day? No problem! You can add on items when you get here. There are items such as TVs, Roombas, office gear, records, alcohol bottles and so much more.
Planning ahead? Bring that old office printer or CD player to smash yourself. You’ll be guided to your dedicated Smash Room, then it’s up to you how you smash.
It took me a while to figure out how to get the best smash I could, but took me about two seconds to grab a couple of kitchen items and throw them against the wall! Smashing is recommended for ages 13 and up, however, I did bring my five-year-olds and we had the smash room to ourselves, in full safety gear. My son took to smashing everything with a baseball bat. My daughter started off saying that things were too pretty so smash, then smashed a bottle full of confetti and was hooked!
Party Room
We enjoyed the use of the party room to have some pizza and drinks to get warmed up for our session. The pizza was devoured by the kids. There are games available to play. When you book a party, you are also able to have your own dedicated attendant to help with your needs.
Splatter Room
After smashing the items in our crates, we moved on to the Splatter room. I probably could have left my kids there all day and they would have been happy. There were canvases and paints provided and the kids went to town drawing on the canvas, the walls, and pretty much anywhere they could reach. We now have the canvas hanging in our house, and kids have asked to return for more splattering.

Individual prices start at $39 per person, 30 – 45 minutes, a crate of smashables
Party Packages start at $295, last about 2 hours, crate of smashables per person, pizza and soft drinks and dedicated attendant for your party
