Green Valley Park in Payson was a great place to burn some energy during our recent stay in town. It has also been a spot to stop and burn off some energy as a stopping points during a road trip. It has a playground and a lake to explore!

This wood chip playground has very little shade, but great climbing structures for kids of all ages. It starts with a small structure on one end for littles and gets a little harder to climb for bigger kids as you go across. There are slides, a rock wall, lots of climbing structures as well as a fun tire swing.

Littles Playground

Remember even with the cooler temps up north, you can still get sunburned. There is shade under lots of trees, however, there is basically no shade over the actual playground.

Bathrooms

There are bathrooms located all over this park, which has proved very convenient.

Lake

This lake totals 13 acres and surrounds the park. There is no swimming allowed. For more information on fishing click here.
