There is a new KTR in Ahwatukee, and included in the 40,000 square feet is a skate park, trampoline, zip line, ninja warrior area, warped wall and separated toddler area!
Safety, cleanliness and experience are the top priorities at the new KTR in Ahwatukee and you can tell. The owner chose not to have foam cubes because of how impossible they are to keep sanitary and I could not like this more. They have a the skate space separated as well as the toddler area. They also deep clean the entire place frequently which is noticeable.
Trampoline jumping squares, dodgeball, zip line, warped wall, ninja obstacle, swing ropes, soft play building blocks, course and so much more to do in here.
This location offers 2 and 4 hour passes as well as membership options. Such a great way for kids to burn energy, my kids can play here for hours on end and sleep so well afterwards.
For the parents
One detail that sets this location apart is that it caters to parents as well as the kids. There is comfortable seating down in the obstacle course area if you want to be close to the kids. There is also balcony seating where you can plug in and get work done while the kids burn off all that energy. I am a somewhere in the middle parent, I am usually playing with the kids, but let’s face it, they get tired before me and the work I have never ends, so being able to get some work done while they play sounds like a great solution.
Kids are able to look up and see parents at all times too.
Toddler Time
There is a designated space that is always open for toddlers 6 and under. They also offer Toddler Time where toddlers can take over the entire place on Tuesday and Friday from 9am til 12pm for only $15 a kid. I always suggest if you have young kids to check out toddler time first. My kids are 6 and barely qualify for the toddler area, but still love playing and building in there. Because such a large range of ages like to play here, it can be hard for toddlers to keep up with bigger kids in the play space.
Skate Park
The skate area is open to bikes, skateboards and scooters. You can bring our own ride and helmets. (Just be aware that all ages and abilities will be using the ramps, so use caution if younger children want to join.)
Cafes
One of the things I dread is places that have a ton of unhealthy snack out in the open for the kids to spy. This location does not do this! In fact, they have healthy options, including Noble Bread and a soda that is from pure cane sugar. Also if you book a birthday party, the quality of food is high.
