This town is most well known as “The Gateway to the Grand Canyon,” because it is where you can take a scenic journey on the Grand Canyon Railway. But every weekend in October, there is a special ride you can take when the Grand Canyon Railway transforms into the Pumpkin Train!

I miss the autumn season from back east, and getting away from the lingering late fall heat of Phoenix is so refreshing.
