If you are looking for a great centrally located playground to meet up with friends, look no further than Royal Palm Park in Phoenix.

The toddler playground has slides, a rock wall, climbing structures, bridge and even a tic tac toe style alphabet game for the littlest fans.

The big kid playground has a large rock wall, climbing steps, climbing net, bridge, swings and lots of fun things to play on.

This playground has sand, but also rubber turf in some areas to make it more accessible.

Note, the structures have shades, but depending on the time of day, there is not a lot of shade on the playground.

The Park

Royal Palm Park in Phoenix is a beautiful wide open green grass kind of park. They offer a playground, exercise course, volleyball, picnic area but note there are no bathrooms here.
