Cecil Davis Park in Kingman

Kim Gudykunst Ollerhead

We found this Route 66 themed splash pad on a recent Northern Arizona trip and the Cecil Davis Park in Kingman has some fun splashpad features, plus a playground.

Splash Pad

The splash pad is new and currently open seasonally from 10am to 6pm. There is a fence around some of, but not all of the splash pad including a gap right in front of the parking lot. The sprays rotate through the different sprayers, with a large dump of the Route 66 bucket every 5 minutes or so.

Playground

There is a small shaded wood chip playground featuring a small climbing structure, a web to climb, and toddler swings. The park is on a large lot, perfect for playing as well.

Picnic

There is a large shaded ramada area located next to the splash pad, great for having a party or snack while playing.

Park

Cecil Davis Park in Kingman has a picnic shelter area & grills, a playground, a multi-purpose grass area, restrooms, benches, ball fields, a basketball court, and a splash pad water feature operating seasonally.

Getting There

There is a small parking lot located directly in front of the splash pad. You can also park along Van Buren Ave, or Lillie Ave to be close to the playground.
