Eldorado Park in Scottsdale includes everything from Oak to McDowell roads. I could easily spend the whole day here exploring and playing! From the playgrounds to a fishing lake and also a bike trail, there is fun for everyone.

The northern part of the park includes the Eldorado Commnity Center, Boys & Girls Club, Fitness & Aquatic Center, Eldorado Pool, basketball court, boat dock, fishing lake, playground and ramadas on the water.

The north playground is great for kids of all age. There are slides, climbing options, a little secret bench area, a bridge for crossing, bars for climbing and a rock step wall. Next to the playground is a large climbing structure with multiple climbing areas for climbers of all ages. There are spinners, tunnels and things I don’t even know what to call them! There are two swings and two toddler swings.

Heading south from the playground you will find all the fields. A north, middle and south baseball field, soccer / football field and sand volleyball courts with spray poles for cooling off.

South of these fields is the second playground. Yes there are two playgrounds total! This one has a big kid playground, swings, littles playground, and dinosaur. The big kids playground has multiple slides, bars for climbing, rock steps and all your standard playground equipment. There are two swings and two toddler swings in between playgrounds. The little kids playground has multiple slides, bars for climbing, a steering wheel and games. Did I mention there is a dinosaur to ride too?

Walking south, you pass a lake on your way to the Wedge Skate Park.

The Wedge Skate Park is 20,000 square feet facility with rails, curbs, pyramid, quarter pipe, Fun Box, Amoeba Bowl and Launch Box. For more information click here.

The Scottsdale Greenbelt, perfect for bike riding, also runs thru this park.

Picnic

There are shaded ramadas and picnic tables throughout the entire park as well as picnic island. Check this map for locations and reservation information. There is a large picnic area called “picnic island” that would be perfect for large events. It is near the playground but set back and shaded.
