Downtown Chandler Library

Youth

We loved the youth area in this downtown branch. There were lots of books from board books to chapter books. There is a play area for young kids with a good variety of toys out. I noticed lots of computers were being played on as well.

Lots of open computers for kids to use. I saw lots of educational apps being used on these computers.

This playroom is for kids 0 – 5 years old. The kids enjoyed playing in here for quite a while. From dress-up clothes to a play food stand to mats for babies to crawl on it’s a great space. I was able to sit and get some work done in here while my kids played which is always a sign of a good place to play.

This little nook with board books is off to the side of the library and offered a quiet place to sit and read books with kids.

Teen Books

The library has a large selection of teen books available. For more information on services the library offers for teens please visit the website here.

Cafe

The cafe offers Starbucks Coffee along with an assortment of drinks, snacks, and treats for everyone. I had some coffee and the kids got milk and a treat!

I don’t think this sign could be more accurate! It’s actually the reason I noticed the cafe and went in for coffee.
