The Kroc Center in Phoenix is a south Phoenix community center open to the public, and has so much to offer! A huge highlight is the indoor aquatic center, and there’s also a rock wall, game room, workout center, sports gyms, classes, childcare, and MORE.
We visited the Kroc Center for the first time last year and were thoroughly impressed. There’s so much packed into this center! It goes without saying that the kids loved the aquatic center. There’s an epic water slide, lazy river (no tubes), toddler slide, sprayers, a huge hot tub, and a free swim area with basketball and a climbing wall!
From the pool area you can also access an outdoor grassy area (perfect for snack time) with a shaded playground and splash pad. We played for over 2 hours!
The older kids also loved the climbing wall. There was a good variety of easy and difficult routes to scale. We also peeked into the game room (think billiards to Nintendo Switch), and the workout center, which overlooks the pool area.
This would be a fabulous place to take the family this summer! If we lived closer, we would totally get a membership too. The aquatic center alone makes it worth it! Thanks to the Kroc Center for having us out!
Day passes to the Kroc Center in Phoenix are $14/adult, $12/ages 12-17, $10/ages 3-11 (under 3 free), and includes access to the Pool, Gym, Game Room, Rock Wall, Recreation Fields, Playground, Fitness Center, and Public Areas during open hours. A family gold membership (up to 6 people) is $89/month! Hours of operation vary, check the website for details. All activities are closed on Sunday, except the church service.
