Fall in Arizona is a magical time that beckons families to step out and indulge in seasonal festivities and the Vertuccio Farms Pumpkin Patch in Mesa is the perfect place to do just this! We visited Vertuccio this week to enjoy an evening of fall fun on the farm and we had an absolute blast!

We’ve always loved Vertuccio, but I can truly say that this farm has just gotten better each year. There are activities for kids to do all over the entire farm- there is no way a child could get bored here! Vertuccio’s Fall Festival includes:

    • 5 Acre Corn Maze
    • Petting Zoo (with a camel, alpaca and cows)!
    • Super Mega Slide with tubes
    • Carnival Games (all over)
    • Barrel Train Ride
    • Giant Tube Roll
    • Giant Jump Pad/Air Pillow
    • Playground
    • Mini Golf
    • And more!

My kids could jump on the air pillow for hours! They also had a lot of fun going down the huge slide (a newer addition to the farm). The highlight for me was the petting zoo. For $2 you can get a cup of food for the animals and they are so cute and friendly! I loved cuddling sheep, goats and getting some camel and cow kisses! There are pony rides for $5, which my kids loved!

In addition to the fun activities, there is a great selection of food available for purchase. They have food trucks, dessert stands, and a concession bar! Perfect for a dinner break in between playing and exploring! We had delicious crispy breaded food truck chicken, chocolate covered cheesecake, and apple cider donuts.

There is a pumpkin patch at Vertuccio and the pumpkins are available for purchase at an additional cost. They also have special Pumpkin Paint and Take dates (check website for more details).

Tickets to this awesome event are $15 and two and under are free! There are discounts if you are an active responder, senior or bring canned food to the entrance! These tickets have to be bought in person, otherwise you can buy your tickets online and skip the line! Also, sign up for their email list online and you can pre buy your tickets for a very discounted price a few months before the festival begins next year!!!

We visited the farm in early evening and were there for four hours, but could have spent a lot more time (we want to go back)! It is dusty and closed toed shoes are recommended.

If you are trying to visit a pumpkin patch in the East Valley- put the Vertuccio Fall Festival at the top of your list! They are open now through October 29th.
