Uptown Jungle Fun Park in Mesa and Peoria is one of our top favorite indoor places on a summer day! They completely live up to their motto of wearing kids out – ours are totally worn out after 2 hours of play. It’s awesome.
There are also now Uptown Jungle locations in Chandler, Avondale, and Central Phoenix. All locations are similar.
Even better, is that Uptown Jungle has areas for toddlers, kids, teens and adults to have fun! Plus there’s a parent’s lounge area with free WiFi. Both locations, in the east Valley and west Valley areas, have nearly identical play equipment, with slightly different layouts. This is what you will find:
- trampolines
- bouncy houses
- slides
- rock walls
- tunnels
- a 5 years and younger only play area (and it’s gated)
- employee led dodgeball games
- snacks and drinks available for purchase
- friendly and helpful employees
- so much more!
Seriously, if you haven’t already been to Urban Jungle, make time this month to stop by. You won’t be disappointed! Our kid’s favorites were the spider climbing tower and the slides. Our 6 year old was so excited to try rock climbing for the first time as well – and after our third visit, has mastered nearly every wall!
One word of caution for parents: this is a free-roam facility (other than the toddler area). Children could easily find their way out the doors, there is no gate or security system. So please keep an eye on your younger ones.

Since there are two locations for Uptown Jungle in Phoenix, please check their website for admission fees and hours. In general, play hours are from 8am-8pm, and costs are $10-$18 depending on if you stay 1 hour, 90 minutes, or 2 hours. They also have early bird specials, and toddler mornings.
